Dextin is a painkiller from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Dextin is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate acute pain, e.g. acute muscle or joint pain, dysmenorrhea, toothache. Dextin is intended for use in adults.

Dosage. Adults. Depending on the nature and severity of your pain, the recommended dose is 25 mg every 8 hours. A total daily dose of more than 75 mg should not be used.
Method of administration. For oral use. The oral solution can be taken directly from the sachet or by mixing the contents of the sachet in a glass of water. After opening the sachet, take all of its contents

Hypersensitivity to the active substance, other NSAIDs or any of the excipients; if substances with a similar mode of action (e.g. acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs) trigger an attack of asthma, bronchospasm, acute rhinitis or cause nasal polyps, urticaria or angioedema; history of photoallergic or phototoxic reactions during treatment with ketoprofen or fibrates; gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation, related to a history of previous NSAID therapy; active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal haemorrhage or any history of gastrointestinal bleeding, ulceration or perforation; chronic indigestion; the presence of other active bleeding or bleeding disorders; Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis; severe heart failure; moderate or severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance ≤ 59 mL / min; severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh score 10-15); haemorrhagic diathesis and other blood coagulation disorders; severe dehydration (due to vomiting, diarrhea or insufficient fluid intake), the third trimester of pregnancy and the period of breastfeeding.

Each sachet of oral solution contains 25 mg of dexketoprofen (as dexketoprofen trometamol salt).
